Want to join LCFPD?

The LCFPD is welcoming to all individuals interested in becoming a firefighter. Our firefighters come from all walks of life. Without volunteers, citizens would face an extreme tax burden to staff a full-time fire department, or have no protection at all. Looking for a way to serve your community? Volunteer today!

 

To become a firefighter at the LCFPD, interested members must complete the following requirements:

- Currently live in the La Plata Community Fire Protection District

- Attend a department meeting and request an application

- Fill out a "New Member Packet"

Fire Meetings are held the 1st and 2nd Monday and 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00P.M. at the fire station.
